Devalued Navigational Links: Quality Content with Contextual Link Works Wonder

Google made big changes to the ways their search results rank,   in the hope of furnishing it’s search users better results, on official google blog it is estimated 11.8% search results will be affected by this update, in plain English, google thinks about 12% of it’s search results are really bad and need to manipulated. Google started this change almost one year ago, and recently I see some of my ranks were lowered considerably, the good thing is that those keywords promoted by content rich links are not affected, and a few of them even gained a few positions, it’s almost a sure thing that plain link building loses all it’s attraction, at least in the eye of google.

Now what on earth is plain link building and how do people do it? a large percentage of SEO firms will do this,  they add your links to those linking websites without context, the content on those sites will never be updated, almost all of them are garbage, the name link spamming are just for these sites. New google algorithm most likely will punish these link spammers,  the links on those spamming sites won’t work anymore.

Examples will be great for explanation. It was quite some time ago, I started promote the keyword, furniture pad, it was old way of link building all the way, lately I figured that every site in the campaign had way too many links, worst yet, those sites had no content at all. In the beginning, the ranking of the keyword in question rise pretty fast, lately the keyword link stayed on the first page for a while, this was the case until google made the change. Now let’s look at another keyword, chain puller , we put the link in relevant context, almost no plain links, you can imagine how this keyword ranks. Now contextual links win the battle, then what? It all boils down to content, when you create unique and quality content, your rank will improve over time, since search engines are another kind of readers. It’s never too late to build good blogs for business purpose, take a look at this blog, baby stroller , in the beginning I just post to it casually, lately I added nice stuff left and right, now it can even rank the highly competitive keywords. As far as SEO concerned, creating quality content and blog marketing is what we have to do to get great result. Now imagine you have your own blog network, something like steel tarp, you will have the power to push any sites up in search engines.

At the end of day all you need to do is to create quality content, publish and share with people, and put your keywords in the context you’re good to go, this strategy will prevail in short or long term. Persistence and patience are the keys to success, nothing will automatically improve overnight, it doesn’t matter you’re doing SEO or advertising your business, keep writing, publishing, sharing and creating, you will see the day of success. One of the best articles directories is EzineArticle, new article will be indexed within an hour if not minutes, and some popular blogs will get your post indexed in minutes, there venues are ideal for promoting your site, let look at some aticles or posts which are published and indexed, take ratchet winch as an example, good writing, interesting content, indexed and cached, all these points make it perfect for SEO.

We’re not finished yet, please remeber, if you don’t take social media account, you’re lost. One thing you can do for your blogs is to install twitter tools, get a twitter account and API keys, link your blog to twitter, then make sure every new post will post a new tweet, it’s easy and really useful, it’s a big loss if you don’t use this tool.

The Basic Undestanding of Steel Chains

In the truck logistic industry , the binder chains along with snow chains are what people use the most, and chains as products have much more than just those transport chains , there are proof coil chains, high test chains, twisted link chains and more, of course there is towing industry, tow chains are there to stay, simply put, these chains are mostly made from alloy steel .

If not specified, tie down chains usually means G7 binder chains, we usually say binder chains, you should know that there are 2 standards for these chains, ASTM and NACM. ASTM standard indicates the chains are short link ones, NACM usually means regular link chains. People use short link chains when they need more flexibility, if you need the chains to wrap around a tight corner, you probably need short link ones, regular links are not for these apps. Tie down chains are mostly seen on the trailers, for the purpose of cargo securement, of course there are other interesting uses of these chains.

Tire chains also called snow chains sometimes , then we know that snow chains are tire chains, but tire chains are not equal to snow chains, for instance, you probably will put tire chains on when the road is icy. Most of the time the tire chains are in pairs on the shelf, because you can’t just chain up one tire, and you can replace just one piece of chain at one time. Due to the use condition, all tire chains are made from steel. People choose tire chains based on their vehicle type and tire size, if you drive a sedan, you will need passenger car tire chains, and if you drive a 18 wheeler, you’re going to need truck tire chains.

And the hardware chains are a big category, you’re going to see all kinds of chains in this family of product. For example, such as twisted link machine chain or straight link machine chains, and coil chains, twisted or straight links, sash chain , proof coil chain, hot dip or electro-galvanized, and those steel chains for decorations, of course there are more steel chain product. Steel Hardware chains are popular due it’s variety and applications, the general purpose proof coil grade chains are the most popular one, for instance, you can use grade 30 chains with windlass or fence.

When it comes to tow chains, we usually only see 5/16” tow chains, the WLL of tow chain is 4700 lbs, because most of vehicles being towed will be put on flat bed, the WLL is good for at least 9400LBS load, due to standardization of tow trucks, only a few varieties of tow chains are needed, such as 5/16”x6′ and 5/16”x10′, long shank J hook and sports T & J hook, since tow trucks all have same design and set up, you don’t need too many different version of the tow chains, both towing businesses and chain manufacturers can benefit from this standardization.

Rigging and Lifting: Chain and Cable Hand Pullers and Hoists

We had a tree stump in the front , its diameter is about a bit greater than 4 feet , it had bothered us for a few years , we’ve tried chainsaw on it but nothing can go through it, lately we bought a cable puller with 4 ton capacity , together with my truck pulled the stump out like a decayed molar in an instant.

Actually cable pullers are heavy duty pulling tools and can be used to do a lot of things, sometimes you even can use it in pace of ATV Winch to save money. The cable pullers usually have 1 ton to 4 ton pulling capacity, the lifting capacity is half of the pulling, and pull reach ranges from 6′ to 12′, 4 ton puller typically has 6′ reach but extra heavy duty ones may have more than 11′ reach. People sometimes call these cable pullers “Come Along”, but come along refers to a lot of different hand tools besides cable pullers, such as chain hoists, chain pullers, hand winch, strap pullers, and more, in a word, a come along is a hand operated ratchet lever winch. What makes cable puller different is that it’s capacity can be as strong as 4 ton, or 8800lbs, it is considered heavy duty tools, while regular hand winch has 400-4000lbs capacity and mostly used to pull boat out of or lower boat into water from trailer, sometimes also called boat trailer winch. Here comes chain hoists , a.k.a chain come along, we usually see chain hoists in big warehouse and heavy machinery operation.

For stretching, pulling, lifting and lowering, cable pullers are the best choice. You can pull or release vehicles onto and from trailer respectively, to pull or tear down trees, pull big rack or shed around your house, pull the tree stumps out of somewhere , compare to electric powered winch, such as ATV winch , cable pullers are inexpensive alternatives. We made our point let’s get a real cable puller, the way to do it is to get it online, a few searches away there will be more than a few nice deals.

As far as we know, these hand tools are always ready whenever you need them, while gasoline powered tools will be out of order from time to time, and we have to take pollution into consideration when we use gasoline tools. To leave our sons and grandsons a clean earth, I prefer hand tools over power tools.
